What is shyness? Shyness is simply fear. That is why a lot of children – and adults, are afraid to speak in public. The worse fear is actually such of public speaking and that is a fear which is greater than the fear of death. The children at Kids Act LA develop very strong skills towards acting, while learning how to conquer any and all aspects of shyness.
Shyness in a child is just emotion, which remains unused. To clarify this, we can say that when a child experiences such fear, the emotion and sensitivity which the child experience has them instead of the child using that as a tool.
The best actors are those who are the most sensitive. They just know how to use their emotion towards greater performances.
The ability to feel, gives those thespians an edge on more method oriented performers.
